In support of this post, I'll take another crack - this one's sure to be wrong. A Midsummer's Night Dream. I've got to study the actor's faces a little more, but I don't think those answers are going to come to me.
Lear
Good to hear from you, Michael.
And good (but incorrect) guesses, guys.
There's still time to wow the Realm with your knowledge of the bard, everyone.
Ken,
By the way, I feel slighted by your first contest, in which you never did announce what it was from!
Come clean man and spill your guts.

I apologize for the confusion, but I edited the previous post and placed the answer, The Taming of the Shrew, and congratulations to Rich for his correct guess within.
Perhaps the change was too subtle.
I'll not err again in such a cross way, and vex you with this fey post. Of that, you can be certain.
Ken,
Where did my guesses go? They got lost in the ether?
-Doug
Ken?
Were my posts offensive? LOL!
Well here is my guesses again:
As You Like It: Jester being Touchstone
Jester: John Boy Walton - Richard Thomas
Other guy: Joel Grey recently played the Slone-Clone on Alias.
I think I made some comment that all shakespearian plays have a jester and that I am still a Florida boob... that about sums it up.
-Doug
I promise that I never saw your comments which have mysteriously disappeared.
Perhaps, Rich deleted them. He mentioned something about a beer before breakfast, so it's possible that he's been into the ether as well.
BTW, good guesses. I'll reveal the correct answers later today.
Just for the record, Doug's comments got lost (the day) before I upturned my Foster's lager into my Wheaties this morning -- which quite literally is The Breakfast of Champions (both here in the US of A and in Australia) I'm proud to declare. The more of this concoction I swallow down my esophagus, the more and more that picture looks like a sonnet more than a play.
Truth be told, I haven't had beer of any kind in my refrigerator for quite some time, which is no doubt detrimental to my mental health and my writing but probably easier on my liver and budget, which is also to say my marital relationship - not the liver part but the budget.
Good guess, Douggie, on John Boy. You might have hit it.
As far as jesters in all of Willie's plays, I think you were using hyperbole there. Obviously, that's not the case. You probably meant to say "in 67.789% of his plays there is a jester", but that's not how it came out at all. And, that percentage would be erroneous as well. Now, I'm just jabbering, so I'll move along.
Rich,
Sometimes luck shines on the stupid and in those days I grin.
(you can quote me on that if you want)
