Six Pack of Cool Chat

Can anyone come up with a cooler set of six words than the one's I've listed below (no proper nouns allowed)? Sure, it's subjective to some extent - but it may be worth the fight...

1) wanderlust
2) harbinger
3) subterfuge
4) effervescence
5) penultimate
6) quintessential

If we get enough cool words, come March, we can pick the 64 (or 65 with a play-in contest) best words, rank them in four brackets from 1-16, and have a Cool Word March Madness tournament with fan polls and all to decide the winners to coincide with the NCAA Championship Tournament. I'm figuring the Final Four are already listed, though (harbinger... subterfuge... come on!!!).

But if you've got the guts, take the challenge!!!

Seriously,

1)ellipses
2)chitterling
3)frisky
4)pugilist
5)dipthong
and last but certainly not least
6)published

Well, "dipthong" passes the sound test. The other ones need work. You get points for "published," though. Many, many points.

Yeah, and I'd like to exchange "quintessential" for "effigies." "Effigies" is a superior cool word. I realize that gives me two "e"-words in my six pack, but they're both so good. Maybe the letter "e" just has a lot of cool words that begin with it.

I suppose I could update the post, but this is easier.

If you are going to dare me,

misogyny
prestidigitation
onomatopoeia
kathmandu
defenestration
crackback (block)

I'm off to dictionary.com. Or maybe I can find these in my Balderdash game.

Good work/words. Defenestration sounds like a word SNL would use when Will Farrell was George Bush. As in, "The Democrats have questioned whether we have found any WMDs in Iraq, but my defenestration assures me we did find one. Yes, one." Is that how you use it in a sentence?
